Sponsored by Henan Provincial Government and China Guangdong Nuclear Power Group (CGNPC), the Assessment Meeting on the Preliminary Feasibility Study Report of Henan Xinyang Nuclear Power Program took place under the organization of China International Engineering Consulting Corporation in Zhengzhou, Capital of Henan Province on March 22 and 23.

Henan Province is China’s most populous province, and is of significant economic and energy potential in Central China. Since 2008, CGNPC has been proactive in development of Henan’s nuclear power market.

The preliminary feasibility study on Xinyang program was initiated in November, 2009 and was concluded within 4 months.
