On March 31, Ningde Nuclear Power Site Entry Road Kickoff Ceremony took place in Wendu Industrial Zone of Fuding City. Present at the ceremony were Zheng Jingguo, Deputy Mayor of Fuding City, Chen Jingzhang and Liu Kaizhi, Deputy Chief Directors of Fuding Nuclear Power Program Office, and Zhang Kaichao, Jiamen She Nationality County CPC Commission Secretary, etc.

Ningde site entry road is on Fujian Province’s top agenda of year 2010. This 5-km road, with two lanes on either direction, will go through 3 bridges and 3 tunnels, and eventually link the site with Wenzhou. The road is expected to be opened by 2012, before the nuclear fuel arrives.
